How to reach the Gröbern Lake and Forest Resort

The idyllic village of Gröbern, with the Gröberner Lake directly to the north, is located on the federal highway B 100 in the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld in Saxony-Anhalt.

⚠️ Dear guests, the route to our premises has currently been altered due to roadworks. ⚠️


If you are travelling from the direction of Bitterfeld, the Mulde bridge in Pouch on the B100 is currently closed. The official diversions are as follows:


Northern diversion: Friedersdorf – Muldenstein – Zschornewitz – Gräfenhainichen

Southern diversion: Löbnitz – Tiefensee – Bad Düben – Schwemsal

  • Directions from the south/ A9 motorway from Munich:
    Exit 13 "Halle/Sandersdorf-Brehna/Bitterfeld" -> take the B100 towards Sandersdorf-Brehna/Bitterfeld -> follow the B100 towards Wittenberg (through the villages of Bitterfeld, Mühlbeck, Pouch, Gossa) -> the village of Gröbern is on the right side of the B100 after the village of Gossa (Warning: No direct passage through the village from the B100!) -> Please follow the green signs to the Lake and Forest Resort Gröbern.
  • Directions from the north/ A9 motorway coming from Berlin:
    Exit 10 "Dessau Ost" onto the B107 towards Oranienbaum -> turn right in Oranienbaum and follow the B107 -> at the junction B107/B100 turn onto the B100 towards Bitterfeld -> the village of Gröbern is on the left side of the B100 after a large railway bridge and a longer stretch of forest (Warning: No direct passage through the village from the B100!) -> Please follow the green signs to the Lake and Forest Resort Gröbern.
  • Important information when using navigation systems!
    The Lake and Forest Resort Gröbern may not be available on all navigation devices yet. If you are traveling with a navigation device and it does not find "Alte Chausseestraße," please alternatively enter Gröberner Chausseestraße or Gröberner Hauptstraße and follow the signs in Gröbern.
  • For owners of electric cars:
    We also care about environmental protection! Since August 2019, a charging station has been available for our guests with electric cars. Please inquire at the reception. Our staff will be happy to assist you. The use is subject to a fee and will be billed according to kWh.

The nearest train station to the Lake and Forest Resort Gröbern is located in Burgkemnitz and is conveniently connected to the region.

Distances from Burgkemnitz:
Lutherstadt Wittenberg: approx. 20 min
Leipzig Central Station: approx. 50 min
Berlin Central Station: approx. 70 min

On line 420, you can reach the Gröbern stop from Bitterfeld or Gräfenhainichen, which is only about 150 meters away from the Gröbern lakeside and forest resort. The call bus operates throughout the region and complements the regular bus services of the Bitterfeld-Wolfen regional transport. You can order a call bus by phone, SMS, or online, as long as there is no regular service (bus and train) on the route 60 minutes before and after your desired time. Due to its popularity, we recommend that you book the call bus as early as possible by phone or SMS, at least one month in advance, but no later than 1 hour before your desired travel time.

The call bus operates from Monday to Friday from 4:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Rides between 4:00 AM and 8:00 AM must be booked by 8:00 PM the day before at the latest.
